If you’re in London in summer you’ll know just how important it is to find a venue with an
outdoor space, a well-stocked bar and plenty of entertainment to boot. Enter Camden
Courtyard, the newest open-space entertainment venue in London.
Tucked away down a seemingly deserted back alley in the heart of London’s famed alt-
scene Camden Town, you’ll hear Camden Courtyard before you see it. From the
owners of the famous Electric Ballroom, it’s no surprise that the eclectic music is a big
hit. The venue is kitted out with a high-spec sound system that’s been set up to work
whatever the weather (which, let’s face it, is most likely going to be rain). In typical
Camden style, the curated music mix includes house, techno, garage as well as live
bands and DJs – there’s really something for all tastes.
Speaking of tastes, there’s street food to keep you fuelled courtesey of Pizza &
Dumpling who provide, you guessed it, pizza and dumplings. And naturally, there’s a
well-stocked bar serving all your favourite beers and wines as well as a range of
cocktails including Wray & Nephew’s rum-based slushy cocktails (get them before
they’re gone!)
If (when) the rain does pour, the fun doesn’t need to end. There’s an indoor space that
has been kitted out with a range of games – giant Jenga, cornhole, beer pong – to keep
the party going.
In an area with surprisingly few open-air spaces, Camden Courtyard offers something
new for those who want to drink, dine and dance the night away.
