Described as ‘health food for dogs’ Pooch & Mutt has an honesty policy we like.
They pride themselves on having ‘nothing to hide,’ – unlike some big companies which use generic terms like “meat and animal derivatives” on their ingredient lists (we don’t want to even go down the road of what all those derivatives may be!). Instead, Pooch & Mutt lists individually exactly what’s in their products, so you know what you’re getting (and what you’re not!).
Barney was sent some Fresh Breath treats to try. They contain chicken, parsley, peppermint oil and chicory – ingredients which not only sweeten doggy breath but also help digestion (poor digestion itself can be a cause of whiffiness).
Barney couldn’t wait to try them.
And we can safely say he was a fan.
He also got to sample some of their chews – Perfect Pork and Tasty Turkey flavours.
Two sticks come handily packaged together so they’re perfect to pop in your bag if you’re out and about for a few hours and you stop off at a coffee shop (I know I keep harping on about it.. but you must always be prepared for a coffee stop!)
These were a favourite with Barney as he could really get his teeth into them for a good old chew.
Barney thinks Pooch & Mutt are pretty perfect, so we’ll be stocking up on some more treats soon. You can get hold of them at poochandmutt.com or do a search on the site for your nearest stockist.
